Difficulties with Parent Portal?
Some parents may be having difficulties with the SISK12 Parent Portal when they are trying to see the students’ grades. This is happening if they have updated their computer browser to Internet Explorer 10. To help in this matter, they must be in compatibility view mode. Parents can do this several ways:
- Log onto the Parent Portal and click on the piece of paper next to the URL address. A pop-up window should appear verifying they are in compatibility mode. OR
- Press the F12 button on their keyboard. A pop-up widow will appear. In the top gray line, go to “Browser Mode”. This will show the browser they are using. Click on this and a drop-down will appear and they should choose “IE10 Compatibility View”. OR
- Go to the Parent Portal page and click on “tools” on the menu line. Click on “compatibility view settings” and a pop-up window will appear. Make sure the website “sisk12.com” is in the “add this website” line and click on Add and then close.
